The North India Cultural Tour 

Our North India Tour starts in the historic city of Delhi.  There you will receive an introductory orientation to Indian culture and history.

During a day trip to Agra you will visit the majestic Taj Mahal and other significant examples of Mughal architecture while hearing intriguing stories about the Mughal empire.

Back in Delhi we take you to important religious sites which provide helpful insight into India’s Islamic history.

From Delhi you then travel to Kashmir to experience the beauty once enjoyed by Mughal emperors centuries ago.

Highlights of your time in Kashmir will include seeing the famous Mughal gardens, staying on the unique Dal Lake houseboats, visiting historic shrines and mosques, enjoying opportunities to interact with the Kashmiri people, and trekking in the beautiful Himalayan mountains of Kashmir.

By the end of the trip you also will have opportunities to explore and purchase distinctive Kashmiri handicrafts to give as gifts to your family and friends back home or for yourself as a memory of your journey to Kashmir.
