Overview

Naya Kanga Peak climb is the delight climbing peak in the Langtang region and lies at the altitude of 5,844 meters. In addition, known for Ganga La Chuli, the peak offer a close journey to the Tibetan-influenced village with massive lines of biodiversity.
 
Naya Kanga Peak is close to Kathmandu and we can travel easily. The trail catches a dense forest of rhododendron and Oak. It eventually leads climber to the much rockier and marshy land. The trekking route furnishes Ghoda Tabela and Kyangjin Gompa (3,800m). Additionally, the hike also takes us to Tserko Ri 4984 meters which is a magnificent viewpoint to gorgeous Langtang ranges. The top of the Yala Peak gives access to high mountains like Langtang 7227 meters, Shishapangma 8013 meters, Yala 5500 meters, Dorje Lakpa 6966 meters, and other gigantic mountains. Langtang region is popular for having rich natural beauties that consist of waterfall, glacier, peaks and lush diverseness of flora and fauna like red panda, and snow-leopard. This region also has a rich religion of Buddhists and Hindus. We can find many prayer flags, wheels, monasteries, and Chortens. 

Climb to Naya Kanga Peak is a strenuous trek and requires good physical fitness. It is an adventure that helps to experience lesser altitude mountains and later prepare for high range expedition.

Day 1: Advent in the Kathmandu, Tribhuvan International Airport.

Day 2: Kathmandu visit and preparation day.


Day 3: Drive to Syabrubesi (1400 m) from capital city. Duration: 7 hours.


Day 4: Trek up to Lama Hotel (2470 m). Duration: 6 hours.


Day 5: Trek to Langtang village (3430 m) from Lama Hotel, Rimche. Duration: 6 hours.


Day 6: Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3730 m) from Langtang village. Duration: 4 hours.


Day 7: Acclimatization and trek to Tserko Ri (4984 m). Duration: 6 hours.


Day 8: Trek to Ngegang Kharka (4430 m) from Kyangjin Gompa.


Day 9: Trek to High Camp (4960 m) from Nyangng Kharka. Duration: 4 hours.


Day 10: Climb to the summit of Naya Kanga Peak (5884 m) and back to Nyengang Kharka. Duration: 9 hours.


Day 11: Trek to Kyangjin Gompa from Nyengang Kharka. Duration: 4 hours.


Day 12: Trek to Rimche (2455 m). Duration: 6 hours


Day 13: Trek to Thulo Syabru (22210 m) from Rimche. Duration: 5 hours.


Day 14: Trek to Thulo Barkhu and drive Kathmandu. Duration: trek- 3 hours and drive-5 hours respectively.


Day 15: leaving Kathmandu city.
